Hi! My name is Misty. Since you clicked on this link you are probably wanting to know a little bit about me. Right? I'm a wife of ten years and mother of three, Brandon (8.5), Breanna (5.5) and our tiny tornado: Breckan (14 months). I love to sew, did I say LOVE to sew? I love photography (wannabe), flower gardening, God, mowing the lawn, fishing (yes I said fishing!), my family, my simple life, bluegrass music, (did I just make enemies on that one, lol?), chickens, shopping, traveling, being on the water, Spring........ok you get the idea! Now on to the good stuff.......
Lilly Anna Kids was founded about 3 years ago though at that time I had not changed the name to LAK. I have been sewing for about 10 years and began sewing in earnest with I was pregnant with my first child, Brandon. I made every kind of blanket and matching burp cloth imaginable because at time I didn't think there was anything cute, clothing wise that you could create for little boy's, nor was I experienced enough to try. Making blanket after blanket gave me courage to create skirts for myself and then clothing for my daughter who was born three years later. She is now five and a half and no longer likes for mommy to make her clothes so most of the time when I make something, I end up selling it especially if it is a dress. She thinks she's too big for dresses. :) So from time to time I will sell clothing on here. I may be able recreate the item or I may just sell the item that is pictured which is only worn for photo's.
In October 2007 I designed my first funky pom pom hat after much brainstorming. After I made it a friend and I searched the web to make sure there wasn't anything like it out there. And there wasn't. I had been trying to come up with a unique item that would be totally mine and had succeded! Not long after I launched my hats I started selling the hair poms. I have since perfected the way I construct my hats and have added new styles. Check back often for new styles and hot new items coming soon!!

Please note: due to the nature of my hats and hair poms I may not be able to use the exact same material (as pictured) on the item you purchase. Since the knitting/crocheting fad has faded I'm having a harder time finding the materials I use to create the poms. IF I should have to do this the result is hardly noticable. Please ask before purchasing if you are concerned about it.
